We're Leanne and Carolina.

We're the humans behind Soul Connect and we're here to guide and encourage you on your journey toward truly great relationships.

Ready to rock your relationships?

Here at Soul Connect, we believe that living an abundant and satisfied life begins with the quality of your relationships. Human beings are deeply social creatures and when our relationships are out of whack, nothing else seems to work right.

We're here to help you unpack the roots of your relational style—your personal history, habits, temperament, values, emotions—so you can flourish as your best self in all your relationships. It is never too late to build amazing relationships. We offer private sessions and intensives for individuals, couples, and groups as well as soul care programming for individuals and couples.

Meet Leanne

Leanne Peterson, Houston-based therapist

Hi y'all! If you are new here, welcome!

I studied in grad school and became a therapist because I wanted to help individuals overcome their personal challenges. After a decade of listening and processing the intricacies of my clients' lives, I have come to the following conclusion: relationships matter. Humans are social creatures and our wellbeing is only possible through healthy social ties. Truly we are only as healthy as our relationships are. But the reverse is also true: our relationships can only be healthy if our internal landscape is well cared for. Thus my practice is founded on integrating healthy internal relationships (with self, identity, meaning, work) with healthy external relationships (with partner, child, colleague, and stranger).

And I do this work myself! I have personally been supported through therapy, coaching, yoga therapy, and energy work, and have had very impactful experiences at workshops and retreats with well known leaders. I can attest to the value of doing my own work, and I make it a priority in my life.

I used to think therapy was about solving a specific problem, but now I understand—both as a practitioner and as a client—that we are constantly learning, growing, and changing. There are always new edges and things to discover. Through therapy and programs we offer at Soul Connect, you might talk about and tackle specific problems, but the most rewarding part of this work will be realizing along the way that you also became a better partner, better parent, better friend, better boss. Frankly, a better human.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting your growth process as you transform your relationships and watch your life change for the better.

Meet Carolina

Hi, I’m Carolina. I’m an entrepreneur, yoga teacher, Ayurveda enthusiast, and mama to two boys (humans) and a girl (cockapoo).

With Soul Connect, I lead yoga, pranayama, and Ayurvedic practices.

My journey with yoga began many years ago when I was juggling a stressful corporate job, an MBA program at Georgetown University, and all of the messy emotions of being a single gal in my 20s.

I became a teacher and eventually opened my own studio. During my years leading yoga classes, trainings, and retreats, I realized the incredible power of the practice to open us up to deeper work. I pull from my experience in the corporate world, entrepreneurship, and the balancing act of marriage and motherhood to support each client on their unique path to a soul-centered life filled with joy, ease, and magic.
